Vizarsin contains the active substance sildenafil, which belongs to a class of medicines called phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitors. It works by relaxing the blood vessels in the penis, which improves blood flow to this area during sexual stimulation. Vizarsin helps achieve an erection only in the presence of sexual stimulation.
Vizarsin is intended for adult men with erectile dysfunction, sometimes called impotence. This condition is characterized by the inability to achieve an erection or to maintain it long enough for sexual intercourse.
How to use Vizarsin
Always use this medicine exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. If you are not sure, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
The recommended starting dose is 50 mg.
Vizarsin should not be taken more than once a day.
The medicine is taken about one hour before planned sexual activity. The tablets should be swallowed whole with a glass of water.
If you feel that Vizarsin is too weak or too strong, inform your doctor or pharmacist.
Vizarsin helps achieve an erection only in the presence of sexual stimulation. The onset of effect varies from person to person and is usually between 30 minutes and 1 hour. Taking it after a heavy, high-fat meal may delay its effect.
If the medicine does not help achieve an erection or it does not last long enough to complete sexual intercourse, you should inform your doctor.
If you have taken more Vizarsin than recommended
More frequent and more severe side effects may occur. Doses higher than 100 mg do not increase the effectiveness of the medicine.
Do not take more tablets than your doctor has recommended.
